Mount Kilimanjaro is the highest peak in Africa, standing at 5,895 meters (19,341 feet) above sea level. Located in Tanzania, it is a dormant volcano with three cones: Kibo, Mawenzi, and Shira. - Rongai route
The Rongai route is the only route that approaches Kilimanjaro from the north, close to the Kenyan border. Though gaining popularity amongst climbers who want to Climb Mount Kilimanjaro Rongai route, this route still experiences low crowds. The 7-day Kilimanjaro Climb Rongai route has a more gradual slope than the mountain’s other routes and therefore is recommended for those with less backpacking experience
- Kilimanjaro Northern Circuit Route
The 9-day Kilimanjaro Climb Northern Circuit Route combination is by a wide margin the least-used route, getting you far away from other hikers. - Kilimanjaro Remosho Route 8 Days
The Lemosho Route avoids the crowds on the early part of the Machame route. Over 8 days, you will have a fantastic journey and a great chance of summiting successfully on this Lemosho route 8-day itinerary. The 8-day Kilimanjaro Lemosho route adventure begins at Londorossi Gate, at an altitude of 2360 meters, with an approach far to the west of the mountain. It passes through the majestic rainforest where some of the region’s most unique wildlife can often be seen. The route continues up to the mountain’s third summit at Shira Ridge
- 6 Days Marangu Route Kilimanjaro Climb
The 6-day Kilimanjaro Marangu trail is perhaps the easiest and most comfortable route to reach the summit of Mt Kilimanjaro. The route is well-developed and the climb is constant and moderate. Only the approach to the summit is the exception as it is slightly more demanding. The accommodation on this tour is in Simple Mountain huts, which might be an advantage compared to the camping routes
